About the Event
The epoxy resin course for teenagers is a 6-week program that is perfect for young students aged 12 and above. In this course, students will learn how to work with epoxy resin to create unique and beautiful artworks. The course is divided into two parts, with each part consisting of three weeks.
During the course, teenagers will learn the basics of epoxy resin, including how to mix, pour, and cure the material. They will also learn various techniques for creating different designs and effects with epoxy resin, such as using pigments and dyes, adding texture, and creating 3d pieces. The course is designed to be engaging and interactive, allowing students to explore their creativity and develop new skills in a fun and supportive environment. By the end of the course, teenagers will have several finished pieces of artwork that they can take home and be proud of.
During the first part of the course, which starts on April 12th, students will learn how to cast resin in molds and create a suncatcher, a keychain, a candle holder, and a trinket tray using dried flowers and shells. The first part of the course will conclude on April 26th, where students will finish up their projects.
The second part of the course will start on May 3rd and will run for another three weeks. In this part, students will create an abstract painting on a small surfboard or an 8" round and an ocean-themed cheese board or tray. The second part of the course will conclude on May 17th, where students will again finish up their projects.
The course is designed for a small group of eight students to ensure that each student gets individual attention and guidance. The cost of the full 6-week course is $415, and payment can be made in two parts by choosing a 50% deposit at registration. Alternatively, students can opt for the three-week courses in either April or May for $210 each.
All materials needed for the course are included, except for the cheeseboard for the second part, which students must bring themselves. Each class will last for two hours from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM.
It is important to note that epoxy resin is a chemical material, and the organizers reserve the right to refuse participation if they feel it is unsafe for any reason. Additionally, a waitlist is available for particular classes for $85-105 per class.
We are also offering private one on one classes which are $75 per hour plus materials fee or private group classes .

Picking up your Artwork
Please note that for most of our workshops (epoxy resin and fluid art) you need to leave your artwork with us to dry for 3–7 days depending on the project. We offer shipping for a $20 flat fee for small and medium-sized projects that covers the shipping box, shipping fee, and fillers for the box.
