At our epoxy resin workshop, you'll learn how to create an amazing ocean  on your charcuterie board, complete with gorgeous lacy waves. The technique we'll teach you involves layering various shades of blue and white resin to create a stunning and realistic ocean look. Learn everything you need to start working with epoxy resin. We will help you to avoid most of the mistakes the beginners make and enjoy beautiful hand-made creation.

You will learn several techniques to create amazing mesmerizing pieces of functional art. A wide choice of different ocean color options will allow each participant to create unique pieces that reflect their personality and taste.

Indulge and dive into your creative side, unleash your inner artist, transform your creative energy into something very special and beautiful at our epoxy resin workshop in North County of San Diego!

We will start with setting an intention for our boards so you can create not only beautiful but also a meaningful pice of art.

We wil be covering about  one third or maximum half of the board with epoxy, the other part will stay uncovered so you can use to cut  on it.

You'll create a  Charcuterie board or 3-piece set: a  Charcuterie board and 2 coasters. 

We have multiple options for the boards (subject to availability):

Midsize Board choices:

17" acacia wood board with handle,  teak boards 10 by 14, 15' round bamboo board, turtle, california board, 14' surfboard and others

Large size board choices:

23" Surfboard, 14-16" Olive wood board, 18"-23"  teak boards and others

Extra large board:

30" acacia wood board with handle.

Workshop is limited in size and structured so that and that you will leave the class with a finished product and confidence that you can recreate more art pieces at home.

Even if you don’t have any artistic skills or even maybe never created any art in your life, you can create a real masterpiece using our step by step guidance. And even skilled artists can learn something new.

Our newly open location in Oceanside is just minutes away from Carlsbad, Vista and San Marcos.

- If you choose to bring your own board, then board is not included. Please note that we prove max of 3 oz of epoxy for this class which is perfect to cover half of standart 14-16" board, if your board is larger you can buy extra epoxy at $3 per 1 oz. No boards larger then 24" are allowed to this class.

We use ArtResin. It is non-toxic (when used as directed) epoxy so it's not bad for your health like other resins. No VOCs. No fumes. No solvents. Non-flammable. Non-hazardous. Conforms to ASTM D4236 (Safe for Home Use when used in a well ventilated area). 

Program:

• Introduction to Art Resin. Mixing techniques and working with paints, micas and glitter.
• Safety rules and PPE.
• Preparation of the working place
• Creating an amazing ocean effect on the cutting board.

The workshop lasts for about 1.5-2 hr

Are there any age limitations?

Art resin workshops are initially created for adult attendees (18 years of age or older). Even though we only use non-toxic resin, it’s still a chemical. To participate in a workshop for an attendee, who is under the age of 18, please contact us. We allow teenagers 12+ y.o. with adult supervision (if adult and teen want to do the one project together there will be extra $35 fee in addition to the ticket of your choice) and signing a waiver.

What about safety equipment or clothing recommendations?

N-95 or KN-95 masks as well as aprons and gloves will be provided free of charge. You can bring safety glasses and your mask (minimum level of N-95 required). No loose clothing is recommended, and long hair is recommended to be tied back. No open-toed shoes.

Can I cancel if my plan changes?

• Get a full credit applicable to any future event 3 days before the event
• Get 50% credit for cancellations within 72 hrs of the event start date.

Can I do another project at this workshop?

You can not change the technique we are teaching at this workshop and request another one, but you can request different sizes, shapes, or personalization elements. Such requests might result in additional charges.
