Embark on a creative journey with our exciting workshop focusing on polymer clay! Ideal for teens who love crafting and personalizing everyday items, this hands-on experience will teach them how to transform cups into delightful decorations and create charming keychains or magnets.
Led by a certified children's educator and art instructor with over 10 years in education, this hands-on session will empower young minds to explore the wonderful world of color and creativity and children will:
- Learn the fundamentals of working with polymer clay, including shaping, molding, and baking techniques.
- Discover how to design and decorate cups with colorful clay embellishments, adding a unique touch to their daily essentials.
- Craft personalized keychains or magnets, perfect for adding a pop of creativity to backpacks, fridges, or gifts for friends and family.
Our instructor will provide step-by-step guidance, ensuring teens have fun while learning valuable skills in clay crafting and artistic expression.

About our Summer camp Instructor:
Our summer camp instructor Kate has been teaching art & interactive kids science classes since 2011. She has worked in schools & private studios throughout Orange County, San Diego, and even Madrid, Spain. She is also a children’s book illustrator and muralist. During the school year, Kate now works as a mentor in a middle school and during the summer, she is ecstatic to be leading our ArtMagic Summer Camps in Oceanside!
